Are we a culture that loves new things?
Old historical windows are being thrown away without a thought and being replaced with new vinyl products that are neither environmentally friendly and not very attractive to look at. Additionally, when vinyl windows crack, fall apart, and need to be replaced, these wood windows will sit in landfills for hundreds of years before they finally breakdown.
